Guitar Teaching in Wivenhoe, Colchester
Most students have their lesson every week or fortnightly, for either one or half hour, at the studio in Wivenhoe, Colchester, Essex. The highlights of the lesson can be recorded onto the student’s phone to help with practicing between lessons. Tim is CRB checked.
Lessons cost £15 for half hour and £25 for one hour.
Tim teaches using the tablature method. Tablature is a way of scoring music for stringed instruments. This method has been used for hundreds of years and is ideally suited to fingerstyle guitar. This system of recording notes is straightforward and means that players don’t have to read music; making it suitable for new as well as established players. When looking at Tim’s tab you will find the space between the lines indicates a string.
